Prototyping
Prototyping is the process of stitching together a model of a system with some duct tape, blu-tac and cardboard. Prototypes are usually employed to distract top management to increase the R&D resources within the organization. The prototype itself is an easily modified and extensible model (representation, simulation or demonstration) of a planned system, likely including its main crank and the input/output hatch.
